Wyatt Ryan Andreasen

We welcomed our little Wyatt into our family on Jun 6th at 8:22pm. He weighed 8 pounds and 15.2 ounces. He was 21.5 inches long.
Like Averi, he took no time at all to come. I had my first contraction shortly after Ryan got home from work around 5:00pm. I had a few more but decided to go to Young Women's. As I was at the church they got stronger and closer together. I remembered when Averi was born I was handling the contractions just fine and then suddenly she was ready to come out. Again, I was doing just fine with the contractions but I remembered what happened last time! So I decided I better not wait this time. I called Ryan and had him take Kiera and Averi to a friends house and he met me at the hospital. Our church house is only a few blocks from the hospital so I drove myself there. We arrived at the hospital and he was born 12 minutes later! Not only was I glad I didn't wait any longer but I know all the Young Women and the leaders were happy I didn't deliver at the church!
We are so excited and feel so blessed that he is in our family.

The Toothfairy finally came!

Kiera finally lost her first tooth!  I say finally because she has been waiting and waiting for a loose tooth.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  She will soon be finished with kindergarten and moving right along to first grade.  I wish there was a way to slow time down.  She is such a sweet girl and she is growing way too fast for her momma.  Kiera is extremely excited for her new brother or sister.  She asks me several times a day how the baby is doing.  She will be a great big sister to this baby, just like she is with Averi.
Here are the girls playing in the box our bathtub came in.  We have had it nearly three weeks now and they still play in it every day.

New pictures of the baby!

Here are some new pictures.  I got to go in for a "face only" ultrasound since they couldn't get a good picture last time.

Kiera and Averi are...

going to be big sisters!  We are so thrilled to be welcoming a new baby into our family.  We have chosen not to find out the gender of this baby.  Here is a picture from our 20 week ultrasound
This is the only good picture the tech could get because of the position of the baby.  Luckily at my next visit they will do another ultrasound to try and get some better pictures.
Kiera is supper excited and wishes we could have both a boy and a girl!  Averi is starting to understand a little but for the most part, seems very confused by the situation.
As for me, my energy level is ever so slowly picking back up and the nausea has mostly gone away.  I am so grateful to be feeling better, especially since Ryan is TDY for 8 weeks.
Since I have gotten so far behind on blogging, rather than try to catch up, I'll just post some pictures of my most favorite people!

Averi Turns 2!

My baby is now two years old.  I'm two months late on posting, but who's counting right?  I am blown away by how fast time flies.  I wish life would just slow down so I can have even more moments to enjoy my little girls, who are growing up way too fast.
Averi is a bundle of energy!  She has a mind of her own and thinks she can get away with anything.  Her personality resembles her birth 100%.  When it's time, IT'S TIME, in her world!  She knows what she wants and must have it immediately.  At the same time, she is incredibly sweet and full of love.  Averi is incredibly shy and most days I feel as if she has been superglued to my hip.  I hear, "I hold you mama", nearly 100 times a day.  But it melts my heart every time!
She is a blessing in our lives and we are so thankful she is a part of our family!
Daddy got Averi these cool airplanes that the girls have loved!  It took Averi a day or two to warm up to the little men they came with.  They all have removable helmets and Averi will not have anything to do with anything that has a helmet or mask.  In fact, at the sight of one she totally freaks out and screams like someone is torturing her.  So to get her to play with them I told her they were babies and she instantly loved them!

Kiera Turns 5!

It is so hard to believe that she is a FIVE year old! I am not sure how the last five years have gone by so quickly but Ryan and I feel so incredibly blessed to be given the opportunity to be her parents.
This year she chose a Repunzal party.

New York City

I'm trying to catch up on our blog. So many exciting things have happened in our lives recently and I want to share them. So here we go back to November 2010.

After spending time at Kyle and Jess' house we had the opportunity to visit New York City with them before we headed back home to New Mexico. If I were to describe NYC in one word it would be FABULOUS! I loved every minute we were there.

Our first night (Friday, November 12th)

We arrived to the city right at dusk so some of the pictures have poor quality.

Our first stop was the Statue of Liberty and it was closed so we took a boat ride across the river and from there we walked and walked and walked.

Here we are enjoying a dinner of New York pizza!

At the top of the Empire State Building. It was amazing to see the endless lights of the city from up there. It was also very windy and cold!

Second day (Saturday, November 13th)

(It is so amazing, the endless rows of tall buildings)

We went to Toys R Us and it was massive!

Ryan and Kiera looking at a T-Rex in Toys R Us.

Kiera's favorite part of the store. She didn't want to leave!

Times Square. So much more exciting at night!

Central Park

Kiera had no trouble at all making friends the entire four and a half months we were away from home. Every park we went to, she immediately sought out a friend and played with them until it was time to leave. Usually it was someone two or three years older than her. The funny part, she was always the leader and telling the other kids what to do, no matter how much older they were.

Kiera and her Central Park friend!

Before going into the Museum of Natural History we got some lunch from a street vendor.
I love this picture of Averi and Kyle!

But my most favorite part of the whole experience...

Cannoli's from Ferrara's!!!
