Time Sure Flies!

These past 16 months have been anything but slow!  Since I last posted, Ryan has been on one deployment and so many TDY's that I have lost count.  Wyatt turned one, Kiera turned 7, and Averi turned 4.  We have enjoyed many short family trips, received news of our upcoming move to England and put our house up for sale.  We have made many new friends and said "Good Bye" to many due to moves.  Kiera started second grade, Averi started her second year of Preschool. We have loved every minute of it!
Here are some updated photos...
January 2013
(Ryan's return home from deployment.  He got home so late at night that I decided not to tell the kids and surprised them when they woke up the next morning.)

(Our super fun adventure at the Great Wolf Lodge in Texas.)

February 2013
(Ryan remodeled our master bathroom and while we were deciding on a paint color, Averi helped me paint a pig on the wall. Note: she doesn't always like her picture taken!)

(We received a nice amount of snow in one snow storm. Very unusual for this part of New Mexico.  It didn't stay long, but we enjoyed it before it melted.)

March 2013

(We took an amazing trip to the Grand Canyon with Ryan's younger brother Kyle and his wife Jessica.)

April 2013
(Easter)

(Planting flowers at night.  Because that is about the only time Ryan is ever home. His job this year has kept him very busy.  We take him when we can!)

May 2013
(Averi decorated everything in her bedroom with sunscreen.  I learned my lesson about leaving the sunscreen sitting on the table!)

 (Kiera started softball t-ball.)

(Wyatt just kept on growing!  He absolutely loved his jumper!)

June 2013
All three of my babies and myself celebrated our Birthday's.

 (First Wyatt turned 1!)

(Second, Kiera celebrated her 7th Birthday! What? Did I just say 7th? I have no idea how that happened.)

(Then our little Averi wrapped up the month with turning 4.)

July 2013
The kids and I took a three week trip to Utah to spend some time with family.  Ryan was so sweet to drive us all the way to Salt Lake City where we dropped him off at the airport so he could return to work.  Then he flew back and was able to spend four days in Utah before we came home.

August 2013
Ryan and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary! This picture of us is not from that day because apparently we did not get a single picture of us together on our actual anniversary.  But he spoiled me!  That was the day he flew back to Utah and after he arrived we drove up to Park City to have a fun evening together as a family.  We stayed at a really cool resort and enjoyed the Alpine slide and Alpine Coaster.  The girls loved it!

(The following day we were able to attend my cousins wedding where we captured this cherished memory!)

September 2013
We took a trip to Sea World with Ryan's older brother Brandon and his family.

Lost in the corn at our local Fall fest farm.  It's safe to say it is the most exciting thing to do where we live!

Ryan took Kiera and Averi for their first motorcycle ride!  They were both nervous but they loved it and wouldn't let Ryan stop.  I know he loved it just as much!

And that brings us to October 2013...
(Ryan's Birthday)

(Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  Not the greatest pictures but we really enjoyed it despite the cooler weather.)

Wyatt Ryan Andreasen

We welcomed our little Wyatt into our family on Jun 6th at 8:22pm. He weighed 8 pounds and 15.2 ounces. He was 21.5 inches long.
Like Averi, he took no time at all to come. I had my first contraction shortly after Ryan got home from work around 5:00pm. I had a few more but decided to go to Young Women's. As I was at the church they got stronger and closer together. I remembered when Averi was born I was handling the contractions just fine and then suddenly she was ready to come out. Again, I was doing just fine with the contractions but I remembered what happened last time! So I decided I better not wait this time. I called Ryan and had him take Kiera and Averi to a friends house and he met me at the hospital. Our church house is only a few blocks from the hospital so I drove myself there. We arrived at the hospital and he was born 12 minutes later! Not only was I glad I didn't wait any longer but I know all the Young Women and the leaders were happy I didn't deliver at the church!
We are so excited and feel so blessed that he is in our family.

The Toothfairy finally came!

Kiera finally lost her first tooth!  I say finally because she has been waiting and waiting for a loose tooth.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  She will soon be finished with kindergarten and moving right along to first grade.  I wish there was a way to slow time down.  She is such a sweet girl and she is growing way too fast for her momma.  Kiera is extremely excited for her new brother or sister.  She asks me several times a day how the baby is doing.  She will be a great big sister to this baby, just like she is with Averi.
Here are the girls playing in the box our bathtub came in.  We have had it nearly three weeks now and they still play in it every day.

New pictures of the baby!

Here are some new pictures.  I got to go in for a "face only" ultrasound since they couldn't get a good picture last time.

Kiera and Averi are...

going to be big sisters!  We are so thrilled to be welcoming a new baby into our family.  We have chosen not to find out the gender of this baby.  Here is a picture from our 20 week ultrasound
This is the only good picture the tech could get because of the position of the baby.  Luckily at my next visit they will do another ultrasound to try and get some better pictures.
Kiera is supper excited and wishes we could have both a boy and a girl!  Averi is starting to understand a little but for the most part, seems very confused by the situation.
As for me, my energy level is ever so slowly picking back up and the nausea has mostly gone away.  I am so grateful to be feeling better, especially since Ryan is TDY for 8 weeks.
Since I have gotten so far behind on blogging, rather than try to catch up, I'll just post some pictures of my most favorite people!

Averi Turns 2!

My baby is now two years old.  I'm two months late on posting, but who's counting right?  I am blown away by how fast time flies.  I wish life would just slow down so I can have even more moments to enjoy my little girls, who are growing up way too fast.
Averi is a bundle of energy!  She has a mind of her own and thinks she can get away with anything.  Her personality resembles her birth 100%.  When it's time, IT'S TIME, in her world!  She knows what she wants and must have it immediately.  At the same time, she is incredibly sweet and full of love.  Averi is incredibly shy and most days I feel as if she has been superglued to my hip.  I hear, "I hold you mama", nearly 100 times a day.  But it melts my heart every time!
She is a blessing in our lives and we are so thankful she is a part of our family!
Daddy got Averi these cool airplanes that the girls have loved!  It took Averi a day or two to warm up to the little men they came with.  They all have removable helmets and Averi will not have anything to do with anything that has a helmet or mask.  In fact, at the sight of one she totally freaks out and screams like someone is torturing her.  So to get her to play with them I told her they were babies and she instantly loved them!
