Mexican Roll-Up's

Here is Kiera helping me make Mexican Roll-up's for a pot luck at Ryan's work last Friday. She had so much fun making these. She kept saying, "Mmmm, it smells good"! Then she would "accidentally" get a finger in the filling, just so she could eat it. She is such a silly girl!

Enjoying the Sun!

Here is Kiera enjoying the high plains winter. It got up to 72 degrees here yesterday and it was lovely. I have to say that I feel bad for my brother who is enjoying his last winter in Canada, Eh! Today they are suppose to reach a high of 16F, but look out for tomorrow, the high will only be -8F. Seriously, how did I get so lucky? I may not be saying the same thing this summer when I am nine months pregnant and it is who knows how hot. So I'll also add a picture that my brother sent me yesterday of him.

Our new house

Finally, some pictures of our house. There is so much we would like to do to this house we don't even know where to start. So far, we bought a new shower head for our bathroom! Bought a new stove and now Ryan is in the process of replacing the garage door opener because it decided to eat itself up! But we are enjoying having our own home and can't wait to PAINT!

Kiera the Chef

Here are pictures from this morning, Kiera and I made pancakes for breakfast. She LOVES to help in the kitchen!

It was a WHITE and WONDERFUL Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Utah with our family. This year Ryan's older brother and his family joined us. Next year my brother will be back from his mission and Ryan's younger brother and his wife will be separated from the military, so hopefully we will be able to see all of our family next Christmas.
We finally made it to New Mexico and get to live in the house we bought December 1st! This has been our first week here since we got home from Utah. So far we replaced the oven because the old one was nasty and I didn't want to clean it and we have done lots of cleaning. No one told us that we could put in the contract to have the house professionally cleaned! I haven't taken any pictures yet simply because I keep forgetting and now that I am thinking about it, it's dark outside.
So here are some pictures from our Christmas in Utah:
