Kiera rotating tires!

Before we left for our trip to Utah, Ryan needed to rotate the tires on the truck. Kiera was so excited to be helping him and she did a really good job. She unscrewed most of the lug nuts by herself after Ryan helped her loosen them!

Kiera's Utah Birthday party

May 24, 2009

We decided to have a Birthday party for Kiera while we were in Utah because the only family member who has ever been able to celebrate a birthday with her is Uncle Brandon. We had the best time ever. Kiera loves going to Utah because there are so many cousins and friends to play with.

Ride up Providence Canyon

My dad bought an RZR or Razor right before we all came home and the boys had a blast with it. This was their first trip up the mountains!

"WELCOME HOME"

Words just can not describe the amazing time we had in Utah. We started our journey at 3:30am May 14th, and made it to Salt Lake around 6:30pm. We met my parents at a hotel and spent the night because the next day, the day we have been looking forward to for the last two years, we got to pick my brother up at the SLC airport after having served an honorable two year mission for our church. Oh the anticipation in the airport as our family and friends along with two other missionaries families waited for them to arrive. And of course their plane was delayed an hour, so we had to wait even longer! It was so awesome to see him!
Because I have so many pictures of all our fun I'll post them according to the activities. There is only one problem we have found when we go home. Coming back! Every time we go to Utah we find ourselves saying how much we wish we could stay and that our vacation was too short. Even little Kiera got very upset when it was time to leave. She did NOT want to come home. I think she would have been perfectly happy if Ryan and I had left her there!
We love you family and miss you so much! Thank you for the wonderful times!

Duck Pond!

Kiera loves to go to the park and feed the ducks. However on Sunday they did not want our bread, so Kiera and I ended up eating it.
The weather has been so crazy. On Sunday, the day we went to the park, it was a bit chilly and we had to add the pants and sweater to Kiera's dress. Then yesterday, Thursday, it was 95 degrees!
Exactly one week from today and we will get to pick Uncle Adam up at the Salt Lake Airport, YIPEE! I am so excited, we haven't seen him since Kiera was seven months old. He has been in Canada serving his mission for the LDS church. Oh, I can't wait to go home!

Me looking really pregnant!

Lots of people have asked for pictures of me so here are the only ones we have taken where you can see the belly! The last two were an attempt to get Kiera to sit on Ryan's motorcycle. She is very unsure of it as you can tell.

My Pole Vaulter

Ryan accidentally erased this post so I will try it again! Love ya honey!!
When we bought our house it came with a dog run built in the back yard. Since it takes up so much space and we do not have a dog, Ryan is taking it down. He got a good portion of the work done this last Saturday, it's taking a while because the post's are cemented into the ground and one is cemented to the house. So while he was out working Kiera and I were sitting at the kitchen table and out of the corner of my eye, I see my husband flying through the air! I ran out to the back yard only to find him "pole vaulting" with one of the poles from the fence!!
