What a wonderful five and a half week trip we had to Utah. We're missing our family already but so excited that Ryan has survival training over with. I took so many pictures that I will just skip posting any more. I would have to say that I am official SICK of driving! I don't know what I was thinking when I thought it would be a while before we had to drive a long distance again (by long distance I mean more that 12 hours). Instead, when Ryan went back into work on Monday he was given his training RIP that stated he starts pilot training for the PC-12 on October 14th in Florida. Do you understand this? Now we have to drive to Florida! Besides the driving, we have to get ready to move in two whole weeks. For me, that is not much time, I guess we'll make do. So the plan is: we pack up and DRIVE to Hurlburt Field in Florida. We will be there until December 15th then we will get in the car again and DRIVE to New Mexico. I feel like screaming, but what would the military be without short notices and plans that don't make sense to anyone! I guess the only two things that can make me feel better right now is finding and buying a house quick and that the process goes smoothly. Second, girls night with my dear friends on Friday, which I am counting on to be the best night of this week!
I suppose I'll go take care of my daughter now and do some more cleaning. I am still not unpacked from our Utah trip, what makes them think I am ready to move?! Oh, if anyone has advice for buying a house, please feel free to let us know. This is our first experience and I am a little nervous!

Hey, why even bother unpacking?? Just take those same bags to FL!! Ha ha! Kidding. Seriously, I can totally sympathize!! But you guys will make it work. And I think you'll be surprised at how fun it can be to shop for houses- in a buyer's market, that is. I don't really have much helpful advice- but I am so excited for you guys to buy a house! Let me know if I can help watch Kiera sometime so you can pack, etc.
Hey! we are kind of in the process of buying a house. Holy smolies. It's such a fun and excited feeling and such a great sense freedom thinking you are finally free of vicious landlords. But then I think of the $ and I think YIKES and want to go hide in a corner. Hope everything goes well for you!
Well after trying to buy a house 7 different times. We are just really picky. You need to write out a list of things that are most important to you in a house. Like with Brock he needs a double driveway and hopefully a nice sized yard. That helps when weeding through all the houses you will look at. And just remember it is supposed to be a fun time. :) Good Luck in house hunting!!
I am so happy for you guys! Brad's 2 brothers and their families live in Lubbock. I actually went to high school in Lubbock and had Erika there. I have a couple of friends that are now stationed at Canon from Nellis. What a small world! You're family is beautiful!
