Two Bakers

Yesterday I made bread for the first time unaccompanied by someone a bit more professional. Such as my late grandmother or my neighbor who taught me this recipe last month. Although I think I called Megan three or four times to ask questions!

Alright, I'll be honest, I did have help!

Sunday

I thought I was the only parent with the ice cream secret. Boy was I wrong! So I was sitting here on the computer last night emailing away and I kept hearing Kiera say, "more please"! So I got to wondering what was going on in the living room. So I walk out there and there was Ryan and Kiera eating a bowl of ice cream!

After church it was warm enough to take a trip to the park, finally!

Daily Mysteries!

Some might wonder what a stay at home mom and her child do when daddy isn't home! Lets just hope not to many dad's see this.

Ryan's Solo

Today was so much fun. Ryan had his solo for the first time in the T-38. I got to go watch him do all his pre-flight stuff. Here are some pictures, and I have to say I am so impressed by how much my husband really does know! Have you ever see how many buttons and switches these things have? Crazy!

Yesterday, Sunday!

Yesterday was a good day. Ryan and I talked in Sacrament meeting. Phew, glad that is over! Later after church, Scott and Megan took us kite flying. It was a lot of fun. Scott's dad got them this cool kite in China. We tried to get Kiera to hold it, but she wouldn't.

Friday Night...

was so fun! It was assignment night for two of our friends. I have to say YIPEE to both of them. One got F-16's and the other got C-17's! It was emotional and it's not even my turn yet! What will I ever do when June comes? Then we went to dinner with Scott and Megan. We went to this little place called Turkey Creek and it was soooo good. They smoke the meat and it was yummy! Then we played a game at our house. It was a fun night. The Thorups will be moving next month and I miss them already!!!

Weekend FUN!

We had a really fun weekend, especially since Ryan had an extra day off! Friday Ryan got home really early, which never happens. Friday night we rented a movie. Saturday night we went to a monster truck show here in Enid, and yes, forgot our camera. Sunday night Ryan decided we needed to build a hut to sleep in. For Kiera, it was too much fun and she refused to go to sleep. So I put her down the usual way. Then I went back to the "hut" and Ryan was already asleep. So I laid down and about an hour later woke up very uncomfortable. So I got my pillow and went to bed. Two hours later, here came Ryan. It was fun while it lasted!

We also decided to take the side off of Kiera's crib. She seems to like it much better now that she can get in and out by herslef. She has also been sleeping better. Last night she actually slept through the entire night!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's been a nice day. I gave Ryan a "10 Things I Love About You" book that I made.

Also, some cute person left a heart attack on our front door this morning, then this afternoon there was a rose with candy hanging on our front door. It has all made me smile and feel so LOVED!

I don't have much to say except, tomorrow is Valentines Day and I am way excited! I made Ryan a special Valentine and I can't wait to give it to him. I'll post a picture after he sees it. Also, the youth in our ward are doing a babysitting evening at the church for all the parents in the ward. So we are going to drop Kiera off and hopefully go out to dinner! I sure hope that Ryan gets home at a decent hour so we can have some time together.
Oh yes, and my in-laws are traveling to Alabama today to see the newest member of the family, my first ever nephew! I am so jealous, I wish I could see him. From his pictures he looks so cute. "Have fun Grandma and Grandpa Andreasen!"

Girls Night!

Last Friday night a bunch of my friends and I went out to a movie and dinner. No husbands, no children, and NO diaper bags! We had the best time ever! I just can't explain how much fun I had. I haven't done anything like that since before Kiera was born. So for all you moms out there who haven't been out, without your little fam, you have just got to do it!

The best part was what I came home to! This was the first night of Kiera's little life that I did not take part in getting her ready for bed. IT WAS SO COOL!
